So, Rooney is back at his boyhood club, Everton. Is there more to this move than meets the eye? It’s no secret about Rooney’s love for the mature woman; is there some unfinished business left in Liverpool?

A survey was carried out for women in Liverpool, between the age of 60-80: “would you sleep with Wayne?”. 4% said yes, 20% said no, and a staggering 76% said not again.

Virgil Van Dijk to Liverpool is also picking up some pace again this week. I’ve heard from a very trusted source that this is just one big smoke screen for Liverpool to pounce on the German general, aka ‘Robert Huth of Leicester’. Huth is set to be announced as a Liverpool player on July 32nd.

Chris Brunt’s days at West Brom seemed to be numbered, with Barcelona eyeing up an Iniesta replacement and Brunt is top of Barcelona’s list. It will be difficult to prize the player away, but Barcelona are not put off by his £50 million release clause.

So, Lukaku to Manchester United is done and dusted. The fee is around £75 million, plus add on’s. For me, it’s a little pricey for a defender.

However, It will be interesting to see where Lukaku fits into Mourinho’s back 11.

On the topic of Manchester United, they are set to be the first club in the history of Football to employ a choreographer, (by Pogba’s request). Ironically, Mourinho has axed penalty and shooting practice in favour of practising goal celebrations.

Dani Alves looks to have snubbed Manchester city in favour of a move to Paris Saint Germain. Alves discovered that he has more trophies than Manchester City have fans.

Chelsea have also acquired the services of The German defender, Antonio Rüdiger. The announcement of the player was absolutely fantastic – very original, with some potential Oscar winning performances. Later that day, Al-Qaeda publicly claimed responsibility for the acting in the Rüdiger’s announcement.

Last and by no means least, Kyle Walker has joined Manchester City. Spurs have really built a strong solid squad of late, and some may argue it’s a bit of a side ways move rather than a step up in Walker’s career. However, I think mos$t of u$ know th€ r£al r€ason b£hind walk€r$ d£ci$ion to mov€ to City.
