The transfer rumour mill is really spinning now as the end of the season rapidly approaches. So sit tight and fasten your seatbelts as we race through this week’s top transfer rumours. Or conversely just sit down and read this like a normal person would, the choice is yours.
Antione Griezmann has been the centre of attention for Manchester United fans attention for seemingly years as his move to Old Trafford is reportedly getting closer and closer. In fact, The Guardian reckon he has agreed a £280,000 per week deal with the club. It appeared originally the Frenchmen was reluctant to leave Spain, but either it was the Manchester weather or the massive contract that changed his mind. I’ll let you be the judge on that one.
Alexis Sanchez could also be on the move this summer. Sanchez seems to be incredibly frustrated at Arsenal’s lack of progress, sort of like a man trying to eat soup with a fork. Plenty of top clubs have been linked with the Chilean but apparently, he is wanted by Bayern Munich, at least according to The Mirror. It will be interesting to see where Sanchez ends up but with just 12 months left on his contract, but it’s pretty clear Arsenal need to cash in soon.
Bournemouth seem to be doing their best as apparently, they want to sign both Jermain Defoe and John Terry this summer. It’s unclear whether they want to sign Joe Cole, Frank Lampard, Peter Crouch and Gareth Barry or not but they may as well appoint Sven as their manager as they seem to want to assemble the England side of a decade ago.
Cesc Fabregas loves a controversial transfer and according to the ever-reliable Sun, he could be heading to either Manchester United or Liverpool for a cool £25 million this summer. Kyle Walker could be moving to Manchester from London as well although it’s City who want the England full-back. Apparently, he’s had a fall out with Poch, which has relegated him to a role on the bench recently.
There are so many more transfer rumours to talk about. I could go on about Mbappe or Lacazette, Belotti, De Gea, and Willian to name a few but I’m not going to. Here at Tales we only like to bring you big stories and here is a major scoop: Nige Reo-Coker has found himself a new club! Yes, the former England (U21) legend has signed for the highly prestigious IK Start in the merciless Norwegian second tier. Coker is one of the greatest players to have represented England at any level, alongside the greats like David Nugent and David Wheater, so I’m fascinated to see how he gets on in Norway.
That’s all for this week’s transfer Tales but if you’ve got any rumours please contact Tales or myself on Twitter.
