If I have said it once, I have said it one hundred times. Thank god the Premier League is back today and we can forget about international football for a few more weeks.
Saturday afternoon, watch the games and then watch Chris Sutton and Robbie Savage verbally bully each other. That’ll do me. Hell, it’s more interesting than the prospect of Southampton playing Watford.
Personally, I like Chris Sutton. If his only role in life is to say to Savage what we are all thinking then that works for me. And watching Savage flounder in response is all part of the pantomime. A bit like his playing career, Robbie nails a comeback once in a while just like he’d pass to feet once a match. But, anyone that openly admits “I do have more money than sense” also understands his part to play in the football TV drama.
And, as much as I knock modern football, this advert from BT Sport is pretty good.
